If your friend tried sabotaging your relationship, then you need to cut that person out of your life - that is no friend at all. If your ex cut off your relationship after hearing the friend saying that, didn't talk with you about it, and then instantly gets a new 'friend with benefits', then your ex was never worth your time to begin with.

This is kind of unclearly written. Did your friend tell her that today or in the past and you’re just finding out today? If the relationship’s already been over for a week now and you’re hearing what your friend is saying and what’s going on with her, you need to politely move on from your ex.
If these things caused the breakup, I’m sorry and you should maybe have a talk with your friend as to why he’s speaking on your behalf in general and then drop it all and move on because you deserve better than the drama.

Your BF may have been on your side. If your ex was gloating about breaking your heart, a loyal BF might well have announced that you weren't even all that into her, so dream on, sugar.
