Today, I asked my dad if he'd like to go fishing together, but he said he was busy with errands. Later, in a casual conversation with my friend, she opened up her phone to show me pictures of her fishing with my dad. FML

Today, my dad and I went fishing. We both got a bite, but when we went to reel it in, both our hooks were in the catfish's mouth. He pushed me in the mud and took my hook out its mouth so he could say he caught it. FML

Today, I went fishing with my dad. I figured, since we were out on the dock, I may as well get rid of my farmer's tan. I fell asleep in the sun and woke up to a fishing net draped over me. I now have a fishnet pattern down the front of my body. FML

Today, my dad asked me to send my mom a text since he was driving and I was in the passenger seat. I pulled up my mom's contact on his phone, and I found that my mom had recently sent my dad a picture of her jugs, along with the message, "We miss you." FML

Today, my boyfriend and I were arguing about how he was too busy for me. During that conversation, he was texting his best friend and then called by his brother to drive him home. Instead of returning to finish our conversation, he left to prepare for his fishing trip with his mates tomorrow. FML

Today, I was using my dad's cell because I had broken mine. I was texting my boyfriend all day when my dad needed his phone back. I forgot to tell my boyfriend that my dad would be using the phone. My boyfriend then texted graphically what he wanted to do to my dad. FML

Today, my dad told me he was planning to have his steady girlfriend over for dinner. He's only had a few relationships since he and my mom split up when I was very young, so I was excited to meet the woman. He then told me that I knew her already. My dad is dating my aunt on my mothers side. FML

I had a dad like this. once cared more about helping a girl going to the same music school as us get to the celebrity judges on Canadian idol then the family that was collapsing. I celebrated when the girl failed

I booked a holiday for me, my wife and the kids. 9 months ago with sun holidays. i payed 75 pound for 4 nights at butlins. bargain (i thought) it was only 40 days untill my holiday that i got a bill with outstanding amount for 175 pounds on my holiday must be paid in 4 days. i wasnt made awair of any outstanding payments any time before this. in small print with sun holiday it states extra charges may occour. :( had to cancel my holiday and lost my 75 pounds already paid. my kids now dont have a holiday because i didnt have any money left to pay the rest. before booking a sun holiday. read the small print.
