Today. after years of being called more or less friendly variations of "lazy", and told that exercising would solve all my problems, I was diagnosed with extreme case of dysautonomy. One of many symptoms literally is "exercise intolerance". FML

Yeah, I had the same exact thing happen. On one hand, it's great to know that there's a reason why working out makes you feel like hell as opposed to how great it supposedly makes other people feel. On the other, the time before you get diagnosed and have the disorder name to tell people to shut the hell up is miserable.

Nevermind that you still have to somehow manage to exercise, and people still bitch about it because they have zero comprehension of how much more exercise takes away when you have dysautonomia. And most of the time they don't actually give a shit because they just use dumping on you to make them feel better about their own sad lives.
