Snakes Are Apparently Hiding in Pool Noodles. Summer Is Cancelled.
The City of Buckeye Fire Department in Arizona has issued a warning about snakes making a home in people's pool noodles, which, we're pretty sure is the textbook definition of 'the stuff of nightmares.'
"Apparently, 2 pool noodles were left outside of the pool up against their cinderblock wall. The next time they went to use the pool, the pool noodles were picked up and brought to the swimming pool. Out popped a rattlesnake. The snake did not attack, but was concerned about the pool noodles as there were a couple of young rattlesnakes who were still inside the pool noodle.."
The Facebook post then continues to give information on how to defend yourself against a snake attack. Because that's what you want to be alert for about when you're trying to relax by the pool.
