FML's Favorite Internet Cheapskates

Selling and trading on the Internet is hard work, especially thanks to entitled dingdongs who try to get everything for nothing. Here's our selection of the worst offenders.

Seller beware!

Usually, the saying is "Buyer beware" but on the Internet if you're trying to sell something, whether it's an object or your well-honed craft, chances are you'll end up being contacted by a choosing beggar. Thanks to Reddit, the subreddit ChoosingBeggars is the place where you'll find the worst cases of those people who'll insult you if you won't give you an item you are selling for free, and then drive for an hour to deliver it to them. Or get mad because you won't draw them something for free, because they know someone who can do it much better anyway. Or think that people should be happy to be paid peanuts to look after their darling rugrats. That sort of thing.

Here are our favorites, so strap in, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

1 - "EP", as in "Entitled Parent"

2 - "Employer", as in "Why Can't I Exploit Teenagers?"

3 - Change your Netflix password regularly

4 - BRING IT TO ME

5 - Entitled Cheapskate Coworkers of the World

6 - #Gluttony #ReadTheRules

7 - Babysitters should be free, right?

8 - "Give me designer shit, but shit I approve of"

9 - The "free wedding photographer with lots of experience wanted" is unfortunately a common sighting

10 - This is just being a freeloading asshole

11 - Choosing beggar tries to switch groups, gets cut off

12 - When it's not Netflix, it's Hulu

13 - "But you did it for X!" is a recurring nightmare

14 - Beware of old friends bearing nothing

15 - The nerve of people expecting to be paid for work

16 - Best response ever

17 - A bit of sanity to finish off

That's it for now!

I hope you enjoyed the selection, they've got me all riled up. People like this deserve to be banned from the Internet for a few days. The sense of entitlement is astounding… or is it just stupidity? Feel free to share your stories of trying to sell stuff or your trade online, and maybe I'll make a follow-up article out of the best ones (if enough people take part, that is!).

See you all soon, be excellent to each other.

I know, right? Doing the, erm, "research" for this article blew my mind. How do these people manage to live in a society? It's so infuriating!

Ugh... just look at all these wretched, filthy paupers trying to get something for nothing. Reading this article makes my skin crawl at the mere thought of the Great Unwashed demanding they get what they want for free.
