Today, whilst working in a hospital, I was expecting a woman to arrive via ambulance who was apparently close to having a baby. She arrived but there was no baby coming. She was pregnant and very drunk and just wanted somewhere to sleep. FML

I don't understand why people do that. You abuse the ability to have kids when there are other families who can't have kids. If you don't want your kid, don't get pregnant. Don't make the baby suffer the consequences of your actions.

Today, I lost my job due to anonymous customer complaints. Turns out it was my toxic mother-in-law. She made those complaints because she thinks if I’m unemployed, it will be easier to convince my husband to divorce me. Luckily he knows she’s toxic and is on my side, but I’m still unemployed. FML

Today, I went on my first date in months. It was going well until the waiter brought our drinks. I went to take a sip of my cocktail, but I misjudged the size of the glass and the stupid paper straw, and spilled it all over myself. The waiter said, “Well, at least it’s not a first date curse,” and I replied, “Oh, it definitely is.” It was, because I doubt I'll be seeing her again. FML

Today, my wife and I got into an argument. She ran out, yelling. Later, at work, I felt guilty, so I picked up some flowers and a card. When I presented them to her, she looked puzzled. I made the mistake of reminding her about our argument. She is now mad at me, again. FML

I smiled and waved back, only to realize that they were actually waving at someone behind me. My date never showed up. FML
