Today, needing to study for exams, I submitted a complaint about the student next door blasting 24/7 rap music. Not only was he allowed to continue, but I was written up for "disrespecting his culture". FML

Part of that is true. It probably is a very liberal campus (as most are) since OP got wrote up for disrespecting culture, which somehow is loud rap music

<p>Depending on where you live you might be able to up your game, and actually call the police. He doesn't need to listen to the music with speakers after all. they've invented these things called 'headphones' that allow people to listen to music at all hours of the night and day without disturbing others. If it's truly disturbing others it's not just a matter of telling your RA, you might be able to call the cops.&nbsp;</p>
