Today, my mom called me an ungrateful lazy brat and now refuses to speak to me because I didn't help her clean the house. I have my own apartment and moved out over three years ago. FML

If this is common behavior from her, there's a chance hat your mother has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Even if she doesn't, it sounds like she is a user and that you are likely better off without her.

Today, I was taking a customer's order, when she said she'd better go for a salad, because she was getting fat. She was actually very slim, so I told her she wasn't fat at all. She took one look at me and snorted "Yeah, not compared to you, that's for sure." FML
