Today, my 7 year old daughter decided to use my laptop without my permission. She accidentally got SpaghettiOs on the screen, then used the hard side of a sponge, filled with soapy water, to scrub both the keyboard and screen of my laptop to clean it off so Mommy wouldn't know. FML

Today, I let my mother use my computer for school work. Later that day my mom asks me what's wrong with the computer. I look at it, only seeing a "Welcome to Windows XP" screen. She said that she saw a blue screen and pressed L and C when it asked her to. My mom managed to clear my hard drive. FML

Today, my 10-year-old "helped" me by “fixing” the parental controls on the iPad. I didn’t ask for help. Now it won’t let me access email, news, or even Google, but it will let me watch 47 hours of baby cartoons. I've been locked out of my own device by someone who can’t eat spaghetti without ruining a shirt. FML

I left her watching cartoons with a blanket and returned to find she’d used washable paints on the carpet and her hands, leaving tiny colorful footprints to the couch. PEOPLE, THE CHILD IS 7. CALM THE HELL DOWN. Not all 7 year olds are as smart as you want them to be. THEY NEED TIME TO LEARN. Christ you people have such high expectations for a child.... That is stupid... And you don't need a password on a laptop for someone to get a hold of the laptop itself. OP wasn't clear on if the child was able to access it and use it or if the child had just grabbed it and tried to get on (without succeeding)....
