Today, I work as a waitress and have a manager who doesn't cut servers no matter how slow the business. In order to stop us from "doing nothing" while the restaurant was empty he makes us do the bussers sidework whom he sent home. i got to scrub the floors and walls for $2.25 an hour.

According to federal law, if your tips don't make up for only getting 2.something an hour, they have to pay the difference. Make sure you get your money!

Today, a VIP visited our building. I was put in charge of his hospitality and was very nervous. At one point, he asked me if he could, “Ahem… wash my hands.” Without thinking, I took him to our kitchen so he could use the sink. Turns out he needed a pee. He looked at me like I was an idiot. FML

Today, I was at a job interview. I was doing OK until I reached the part where I had to do a demo. As I lifted my arms, I my shirt got caught on the button of my pants, exposing my belly button. I tried to discreetly adjust, I ended up getting way too distracted mid-demonstration. The interviewer looked at me like I was a circus act. FML

Today, I had to stand next to my wife at the supermarket, beet-red and pretending not to exist; about half an hour into our shopping, she completely lost her shit at the advertising on the loudspeaker, turned to another patron, and screamed into his face to shut the fuck up. FML
