Today, I woke up late for my new 3rd shift job. In my rush to throw a lunch together, I mixed up some jars in my fridge. All I had to eat was spaghetti covered in mayonnaise and a NutterButter. FML.

Slight suggestion: pack lunches the night before, just put everything in desperate containers and start with cold ingredients so that moisture isn't a problem. That way you don't wind up with mayoghetti again.

Separate container, not desperate containers. Though what would desperate containers be? Containers that constantly beg you to put something inside of them?

Today, my boyfriend came home drunk and thought it would be funny to spray himself in the face with pepper spray. I was in his drunken firing line too. After him vomiting and being blinded for a few hours, he was fine. I, on the other hand, had a terrible allergic reaction and got rushed to hospital. FML

Today, after nearly two months of working at my new job, one of my co-workers finally explained to me that the list of tasks that our boss gives me every day are actually HER duties, and as I complete them, she just sits in her office and watches Netflix. FML

Today, I presented my child with the classic "Who came first, the chicken or the egg?" conundrum. In return, I got a detailed lecture on how birds evolved from dinosaurs, how life was created in the sea and an explanation about evolution. I got schooled by a 9 year old. FML

Today, I found out I'm "no longer under consideration" for all 8 of the jobs I recently applied for. I'm broke and stuck living with my ex, who's got a new boyfriend. I hate my life and myself, wish I was dead every day, and am stuck in retail hell for the foreseeable future. I barely eat and exist only to work and sleep. FML
