Content almost refused by staff

Today, I was walking on the beach with my boyfriend. He suddenly got down and proposed with a gorgeous ring. At the same moment, a dog ran up and snatched the ring and toke off. After chasing it, he gave up and said, "Whatever, I didn't want to do it anyway." He left me stranded on the beach. FML

It was a good thing that dog was there! So, your boyfriend doesn't even want to propose and he left you stranded at the beach. You deserve someone a lot better than that. That's just not cool at all. I'm sorry OP.

Is this a true story? Because if so, this is just about the worst FML I've ever read! Talk about going from bad to worse to even more messed up. Bad enough the dog takes the gorgeous ring, which is so completely random and hard to believe, but the then the boyfriend admits he didn't want to propose and then just walks off? Sounds like a movie or something.
