Today, I wanted to ask out a cute new co-worker. She seemed shy so instead of asking her outright I left a sticky note in her cubicle. Not only did she act as if she hadn't noticed it all day, but when it was time to go home she was picked up by another woman. They kissed. FML.

I'm pretty sure that dating coworkers has been discourage for... well, a long time. Plus if she just started there, that's kind of rude to make her feel like she might make an enemy if she says no, and she's also allowed to not be interested in men or in you specifically. But, hey, the most it could have cost you is your job! You apparently aren't super attached to it anyway.

Plus if she just started there, that's kind of rude to make her feel like she might make an enemy if she says no, and she's also allowed to not be interested in men or in you specifically. But, hey, the most it could have cost you is your job! You apparently aren't super attached to it anyway.

Today, my wife started a 24 hour urine collection as directed by the doctor for her pregnancy. She has to collect the urine in a gallon jug, and refrigerate it. At lunch time, I went to go get the rest of my sandwich but was unable to find it, until she suggested I "look under the piss jug." FML

Today, I took a crap. When I stood up to admire my handiwork and flush, I noticed blood-red everywhere in the toilet. I freaked out like a little girl, thinking I was bleeding out of my ass. Then I noticed the ketchup packets my roommate had slipped under the seat to prank me. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I are Balkans (Albanian to be more specific) and him, his dad, and my dad went out for coffee to talk. I found out afterwards that my dad had accepted my hand in engagement without talking to me about it. I've only been dating him for a month. FML

Today, I went swimming with this guy I like at dammed river. While we were jumping off the dam, I decided to try to impress him by doing a front flip. I didn't jump far enough off, so when I went to flip, my face skidded down the concrete wall. FML
