Today, I walked in on my 22 year old boyfriend "grooming" my 6 month old kittens by repeatedly headbutting them gently with his nose so that "they'll like him more" and "create a stronger bond". FML

that's super adorable actually. that's something I imagine my 31 year old boyfriend would do. I would say YDI only because if he's like that with your cats, it sounds like he would be sensitive to you and caring.

Well, that actually very well could have the desired effect. Not for the reasons he's thinking, but because it's essentially saying to the cat "I want to be your human, so I'm putting your scent on me, see?"

It's called 'bunting' if you want to look it up. So long as he's not doing it too hard that sounds totally fine to me.
