Today, I tried inviting my new pregnant coworker to a crepery and I was excited that I could be able to hang out with another pregnant woman like myself. She says "Ah, ok. My aunt is in town, I'll go with her." Can't tell if I was rejected or she is oblivious it was an invite. FML

I guess that would depend on how vague your invitation was. Did you say "Let's do lunch there tomorrow, is 12:30pm good for you?" or "This place is amazing, you have to try it!" Because the first example is an unmistakable invitation, the second just sounds like a recommendation.
