Content almost refused by staff

Today, I got bitched out by a customer who accused me of being racist because I'm white and I did not say hi to him when he walked into the store. I work as a cashier at a dollar store.

Here are my 2 cents (and I'm sure 49 other people will give their 2 cents too)- it doesn't matter if you work at Tiffany's or The Dollar Store, when people walk in the door, you greet them. That's just good manners.

We don't greet people as they walk in if we're cashiers, we greet them as they come to the counter. Dudes an asshole tbh.
