Content almost refused by staff

Today, I finally saved up enough money to possibly buy a small apartment. Today, I also received a bill for $1600 from the government and a $1200 car repair bill. FML

$2800 CAD is around £1600. That's about 0.5% of the cost of buying a small apartment in London!

they probably weren't planning on only spending $2800 on an apartment..rather they saved enough but now with these payments there's not enough money left. I rent and it's over $1000/month in Ontario, no way they can buy with that amount in B.C.
