the OP clearly found out because of a reaction or comment their blind date made. it's not hard to figure out. and you dismissing their experience is offensive as well. grow up.

That doesn't explain how you discovered it. Unless he/she made a racist comment. You being black doesn't automatically equal racism either. They could have been a Chinese guy hating on a Hispanic person.

Today. I had my first final exam. That would be fine if I hadn’t gotten sick 4 days ago. No one can go get my antibiotics, I feel like I’m dying and I can’t miss these exams under any circumstance. FML

Today, at work, we had an extremely rude customer who started cussing at us, and my coworker started cussing back. I jumped on the register to quickly bring down the line, and apologized to everyone for the scene. A secret shopper was in the line and claimed that I was rude. I got written up. FML

Today, I found out why we've had to replace 3 washing machines this year. My sister thinks that "huge capacity" means "load the washing machine until no more clothes will fit." It blows the motor every time. She's 31. FML
