They may let you retest if you complain. My school also replaced my calculator when something similar happened to mine. Granted it was a second hand calculator from the back of our Math teachers closet...

That's got to invalidate the exam. Complain about it along with everyone else. They should keep the exam room under control from outside influences.
Why would any school let that happen during an exam, especially one that sounds pretty important? I can understand this type of thing happening during regular class time, but not a test, seems pretty stupid on their part. I'd complain, get them to reschedule the exam and replace your calculator, because they're the ones that ruined them.
