Content almost refused by staff

Today, after months of job hunting and subsequently giving up the hunt to go back to college, I got a job offer. Good news it's part time so I can still go to college. Bad news my first day of work would clash with my first day of school. FML

The first day of school isn't that big of a deal. The profs give you a syllabus, and that's pretty much it. Show up on the second day & get your syllabi then. Simple enough. Lots of students don't even join classes until the following week anyway since the add/drop date isn't for a couple of weeks after school starts. Good luck!
