Well if he got your wallet it would make your story hold fast
**** the police!!! Whoop whoop!!!
Its like a brotherhood in a way. If you see a your partner being a asshole it is hard to tell them to stop. They are the ones who have your back. So if you piss them off you just lost your backup. You have to put yourself in their place.
Shouldn't he have your wallet? And your id?
Were those cops eating doughnuts off the barrel of their guns? To raise their IQ THEY SHOULD STAND ON SOMETHING REALLY HIGH. Sears Tower may help a bit
Cops are idiots sometimes. You can go file a complaint on them. And the fact that they should have gotten the other persons name should allow you to include it in your complaint. Don't let this go. Go file a complaint against them.
Sounds like Dallas....
Some cops are just judgmental people. Sorry to hear that they didn't believe you, hope they realized and got your stuff back.
It makes no sense to judge based on how well-dressed somebody looks though. It's easy to buy expensive clothes when you're stealing other people's money, look at any politician.
