Today, I thought my mom and I could put aside our differences and open our Christmas presents. When she opened mine, she turned to my dad and said she didn't want the present, so I could give it to someone else. 'Tis the season. FML

Today, my mother has stooped to a new level of "hiding" Christmas gifts. She now just dumps them in the middle of the floor and says, "Don't look at them." If she even thinks I'm glancing in the direction of the pile, she will burst into a manic rage, and yell at me for "ruining the surprise." FML

Today, I've had my tenth "Christmas" dinner since Christmas last took place. My mum has gone nuts and keeps playing Christmas music, making these dinners, and refusing to let me take down the Christmas decorations. My dad is too whipped to save us from this hell. FML

Today, my mom is coming to pick up the Christmas presents we got for her and her husband. She won’t come inside or come within 6 feet, so she can be healthy when she goes down to the ex-wife’s parents house to hang out. The ex in-laws that hate me. Glad my mom chose them over me. FML

Unless you have a 5 story mansion with tons of rooms and she wants you to clean all windows, floors, ceiling etc then it's not really that bad.

A lot of people think ydi or whatever but honestly cleaning first thing on Christmas morning sounds awful haha... I mean if I was going to ask someone to clean, I wouldn't want to ruin the Christmas spirit by making them do it on Christmas morning.

I'm guessing she's tired of working to get everything done and would like help. My aunts family does absolutely nothing to help her and gets to enjoy all of her hard work without even appreciating her. Offer to help next time and this won't happen.

My mom didn't let me open them until I gave the control to her room and I remembered that I had hid it in my aunts car trunk and she had left like 30 before. :(
