Today, I came home from school and went upstairs to sit on the balcony. I walked past my mom and said hello. She then got mad at me because I didn't ask how her day was. She said I should stay in my room and that I don't deserve dinner because I don't value her tasks in the house. FML

Refusing to give a minor child the necessities of life, such as food, is child abuse. If it's severe, tell an adult you trust (relative, teacher, etc.) how your mother is treating you. They may call social services.

Here's a good idea to lift up her moods; tell her to go upstairs and sit on the balcony. Then clean up the house. Begin with her bedroom. Then if she complains, tell her that she should sit in her room and that she doesn't value your tasks in the house.
