Parrot Tells A Firefighter to F*ck Off After Getting Stuck On A Roof For 3 Days

Watch your manners, parrot.

Jessie, a turquoise and yellow macaw, is a very bad Parrot.

According to Metro, after spending three days on the roof of a house in Edmonton, North London, Jessie's owner and the RSPCA were unable to get the bird to come down. Fearing that the bird was injured, Jessie's owner had no choice but to call the fire department for help getting the bird down.

But the parrot was not having any of it.

"Jessie had been on the same roof for three days and there were concerns that she may be injured which is why she hadn’t come down," Chris Swallow from the Green Watch team at Edmonton fire station said."We then discovered that she had a bit of a foul mouth and kept swearing, much to our amusement."

What's better? It turns out Jessie the parrot wasn't injured at all. After giving the firefighters a mouthful, the bird grew annoyed and flew off to a nearby tree and then down towards her owner.

In other hilarious news, the London Fire Brigade has had to ask people to stop calling the police for trapped animals, following a drastic increase in calls. The officers have previously been called to rescue an iguana from a roof, a kitten wedged in a bongo drum and a chimp trapped in a chimney. And nope, we did not get that information from The Onion.

What's going on, London? You OK?

she DID tell them off. she probably went to her owner to verify the firefighters spoke English since they didn't listen. when a bird (I mean chick) says f off, she means it. they're looking at a harassment suit: "no means no" kind of thing. what's up London? did your zoo lose it's fences?? maybe it burned down while they were busy with the parrot and that's how all these critters got loose.
