A Man From Illinois Books A Prostitute And It Turns Out She's...His Wife!

Talk about awkward. In perhaps the most FML story of the year, this unnamed man had planned a rendezvous with a lady of the night, only to find that the woman he had booked was none other than his wife of 19 years.

According to an article published by the Telegraph Sun, a 52-year-old man from Elgin, Illinois had been using a website to meet up and have sex with prostitutes at local motels for several months. So when he found a new profile that interested him, he told his wife he’d be going out for drinks with his coworkers and made arrangements to meet up with the call girl in a neighboring town.

The profile of this lady of ‘certain abilities’ listed her age as 27 and included a faceless photo. But faces were not necessary for Mr. Elgin Man. He was revved up and ready to go. All he needed to see was her body and he was sold.

This is when shit goes down.

Around 8pm, the motel’s front desk was alerted by guests in the adjoining room of a noise disturbance after the prostitute showed up at the hotel room and discovered that the man she had come to meet was her very own husband.

To state that they were both upset would be an understatement.

Something is seriously wrong with a marriage if the husband has been habitually ordering hookers for months and the wife secretly moonlights as an escort. Oh and I’m pretty sure it goes without saying that the wife, actually 43 years old, had been lying about her age.

If this whole situation isn’t poetic justice, I don’t know what is.

I think the only person who can fully understand this situation would be the guy who wrote ‘the Pina Colada Song.’

So I waited with high hopes and she walked in the place

I knew her smile in an instant, I knew the curve of her face

It was my own lovely lady and she said, "Aw, it's you."

Then we laughed for a moment and I said, "I never knew."

Only difference is that Pina Colada guy’s story bring him and his lady closer together and this story ends in divorce. FML for him!

Yeah, despite ending on a happy note and having a catchy melody, "Escape" (AKA the Pina Colada song) is basically a song about a married couple attempting to cheat on one another.

The pina coladas song was playing in my head the whole time I read this article. The only thing that this could be better would be if they both ended up with V.D. and fought about who gave it to whom.
