Today, I was rushing to get on the train to work as I heard the "door closing" beeps. I was about to step onto the train when a man pushed me out of the way so that he could get on. My handbag fell out of my hand into the carriage. I stayed on the platform. FML

Today, I was waiting for the train. It arrived, I got on and the woman behind me stepped on the back of my shoe. My shoe came flying off and landed in the gutter between the train and the platform. The doors closed, the train pulled away. FML

Today, I was on a crowded el train listening to my iPod touch. As I stepped off the train, my headphones got caught on a man's jacket and my iPod fell on the floor. The doors shut. I then watched the train pull away. With my iPod on it. FML

Today, I was on the train to work. I was up late the night before, causing me to doze off. When I woke up, I was at my station. I stood up, went to walk out of the door and fell flat on my face on a platform full of people. Someone had tied my shoelaces together. FML

Today, as I was trying to get off a crowded train, some asshole pushed past me hard enough to nearly knock me over. My bag hit a preschool kid standing behind me, and I missed my stop trying to apologize to him. His mom yelled at me all the way to the next stop. FML

Today, I was on a tram and I noticed an older lady having trouble getting down the stairs. I immediately got up to help her, dropping my bag on the seat accidentally. As I went to get back on the tram, the doors closed. FML

Today, as I tried to get off the bus, my bag and the hand holding it got stuck between the exit doors. I dropped the bag in panic, but the driver wouldn't let me off until we got to the next stop. I had to walk all the way back to get my bag. FML

Today, while on the train heading to my new job, my coat caught between two seats. I didn't notice until my stop. I whacked myself in the face in front of everyone trying to get it free, and ended up missing my stop. When I finally got to work, I was told not to bother coming in again. FML

Today, on the subway, a woman got off without her suitcase. I grabbed the case, chased her onto the platform, and shouted, "You forgot your suitcase!" while the doors closed behind me. In actual fact, it wasn't her suitcase, and its actual owner was still on the train. FML

Today, I ran for the train that was about to leave. I tried to hold the doors open with my leg and got stuck. The conductor just yelled out how unbelievable and ridiculous I was and waited 2 minutes to finally release me. Everyone was laughing at me. FML

Today, I was on a very crowded bus, standing near the back door. People had to get off at the stop, and being near the door, I had to step off the bus, allowing the people to exit. I was about to enter back into the bus, the door closed and the bus driver took off, leaving me stranded. FML

Some people carry them to carry other things in, also men carry bags now that are similar to what some may call a "hand bags". There are not dumb, they don't deserve this, this is like saying, because you drive a car you deserve to die in a car accident.

I wish women's pants came with huge pockets. But they don't. They pretty much expect us to carry bags, which can easily be forgotten or stolen. I have small ass pockets, and my cell phone's always falling out. Thanks pants.

We carry way too much stuff to put in pockets. Guys carry a phone and a wallet and maybe one or two other things. We carry 10 times as much.

#3, yes there are reasons for it, but still, if you are rushing you can still get on. It is the same with yellow lights, instead of slowing down, they make people speed up. OP- Sux to be u, FYL indeed. Why didn't you just start like banging on the door?

I don't know if you're agreeing with #3 or not. State driver's manuals specifically state that the drivers should slow down at a yellow light UNLESS they cannot safely do so. These are the same manuals that are studied for examinations to obtain a driver's license. Once a person accepts a responsibility but neglects the rules, then it's completely his or her fault should anything happen.

door closing beeps just let you know that the doors are in fact closing, but the conductor can open them if there is a jam, eg. a person stuck inside =) that's a real shame, some people have no conception of common courtesy.
