Today, I got a call from my employers wanting to ask why I had a no call, no show for today. My supervisor reported me for not showing up to work. It's my day off, and also my birthday. FML

"Why isn't Chris here? Oh, right, it's his day off." "Who's Chris again?" "You know, 29-year-old, short hair, glasses…" "I just checked the employee roster, and the only Chris is 30." "Oh, I must've been confused. Call him and tell him to get his ass in here!"

Working on your birthday should be illegal. I mean, unless you want to... But who the hell WANTS to work on their birthday?

I would much rather work the day of my birthday than the day AFTER my birthday...

should have invited the supervisor to your birthday

This great because yesterday really was my 30th birthday, and I even wear glasses.

This is ANOTHER good reason I take a picture of every weeks schedules.

I'm assuming you told them it was your day off right??

Hello everyone. I would just like to say, my schedule is the same every week, sun-thurs. My supervisor just either had his days mixed up, or hadn't noticed yet that I'm never there on Friday (I haven't been working there long). Once I pointed out to the woman who called me, that it was my scheduled day off, she apologized repeatedly and all was well. I also had a great birthday. Thanks to everyone who wished me well :)

That Sucks!! Where at in AZ? Is this SamiSue?
