That went well

By not on life, that's for fucking sure - 25/10/2014 18:27 - United States

Today, I went to a big job interview. As I walked in, I tripped and fell flat on my face. Other highlights include my voice cracking multiple times, sweating profusely and getting uncontrollable nervous giggling. The interviewer eventually stared at me in disbelief and asked if I was high. FML

Those exact three words came to my mind to comment!!!

really sad you're getting downvoted, Enslaved, that song is the bomb

He should have gotten high. Would have relieved the stress

Maybe if thou was high then thou would have got said job.

As OPs name suggests; not on life, that's for sure.

I'm assuming #17 hasn't listened to the remake Hehe

Is it bad that I found this post hilarious? I still feel sorry for you OP. I've definitely had my fair share of embarrassing interviews.

50shades of grey. Now if only the interviewer gets turned on my fidgety members of the opposite sex....

The case of the nerves can really affect your day. I'm sorry about that OP. I really hope the interviewer understood why that was happening D:

If they did, that says something great about the interviewer, but unfortunately it's unlikely. Sorry OP.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say no. If OP managed to all but have an anxiety attack and still got the job I don't think it'd be an fml.

Yep and a promotion. Now the company comedian.

Yep he is saying FML because even though he was nervous he over came the odds and now has a job.

That sucks. Are you normally that anxious in those types of situations? They make great medications for anxiety.

I can't upload a profile picture, I go through the process of doing it, but nothing happens. Couldn't find solution on the web. Anyone else having this problem?

42, have you tried turning it off and back on again?

#45 What are you agreeing to disagree about...?

Hmm, I see. I ask the community a question and get downvoted to the depths of hell and get a sarcastic reply.... lesson learned.

I'm not sure to be honest. I think I meant to post that on another thread.

Always laugh it off and explain that you are nervous. Or you know, don't get so high before interviews.

These things can be worked through. Practice interview questions on your own or with friends. Schedule interviews for jobs you have no intention of getting. Get comfortable with yourself and realize that if it all goes wrong, you aren't in any different of a place than you were before the interview. Life goes on. Good luck in the job hunt!

Littering and, littering and, littering and. . .

Sorry #46 I guess nobody got your reference. That movie was so ******* funny.

Total classic. They're making a second one supposedly. :)
