Today, it's my 17th birthday. I asked for a newer car because my car right now sucks. I got a book on photography. I don't own a camera. FML

I've had the same car since I was 15. My parents were kind enough to get me my own beetle bug back then and it's still the car I drive. My center console is fully duck taped an is still falling apart, my door panels fell off, and the overhead lining is falling down. The transmission needs to be replaced soon, as she won't do over 55/60 mph on a good day, more like 45/50 normally. Am I complaining? No. That's the way it is and I'm just happy to HAVE a car that gets decentish gas mileage and gets me to college and back. I'll get MYSELF a new(er) car when I can afford it. Boo hoo that daddy didn't buy you a shiny new toy just because the old one is a little worn out. Grow up.
