Today, I went into labor with my first child, and as much as I pleaded, I had to wait for my husband to finish his raid in World of Warcraft before he'd take me to the hospital. FML

Do you not have an emergency transportation system in Australia? Or friends? Family? Surely there was someone you could have called, or something you could have done beside "plead" with your husband. Unplug the computer. Unplug the modem. Smack him violently in the head. If you really chose to sit around waiting, YDI.

She's going into ******* labor, how much action do you think she is capable of? Sitting and waiting was probably all she could do, hence the FML.

You can't "delete" a WoW account. You can delete the characters, but he could just petition a GM to restore them, and then change his PW to keep you from getting back in. There aren't a lot of ways to sabotage the account permanently. Even if you got him hacked, he could restore. Maybe she could have grabbed his vent mic and said "THERE'S A BABY COMING OUT OF ME HE HAS TO GO" I've done a lot of raids, and when a guildie has to drop because of something important, no one reproaches them. If he says he can't leave, he's not thinking of his guild, only himself.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I've never been in a raid where someone has said I gotta go my *kids, spouse, etc * need me and they were critisized or it. This "man" if he can be called that needs to have his priorities brought to light. A wife in labor is MORE important than WoW and so is everything else.

I play WoW, I'm an 18 year old female, and I'm the only one in my relatiobship who plays it yet I still get more action than you likely do and even then it's fairly rare but that's my choice to not have sex every day that's the cause for that
