Today, I paid $80 to change my cell number because my ex-girlfriend had been stalking me. To inform all of my friends of the change, I sent a mass text message to everyone in my phonebook. Including my ex. FML

You know you can just block her number right?? Then you don't have to spend near to that much money

I know I commented before, but there are many reasons to leave someone's number in your phone. Well, mostly just one big reason..So when they call, you know it's their number! In this day and age no one remembers numbers anymore for the most part, it's almost necessary if there's a potential people you don't like will call. This works in both personal life and in business, I've made my living over the past couple years doing websites/office help for individual business owners and some of them have screwed me over, and I'll be damned if I get roped into another job that I might not get paid for. I also keep this crazy girl that always tries to get in touch with me like I'm some sort of fall-back when she breaks up with boyfriends...not because I would ever want to be with her but so I can see her name and not answer. Long, I know...but stop giving the guy shit for keeping numbers in his phone. It comes in handy!

Definitely take her number out of your phone! When my ex left to "figure things out and hopefully one day come back" I took her numbers out of my phone right away even though I wanted her to cone back. To the people that said he kept the number to know not to answer it: he SHOULD know her # when he sees it!!!

Cell phones, no manual dialing - people rarely memorize phone numbers anymore genius.

Smooth move, dumbass. You deserve that one, I think, for not thinking to take out her number first.

You should've just sent her a message and made it look like you accidentally sent it to her and said that you changed your number, but actually make up a random number.

I don't think you have to actually go through the trouble of filing a restraining order, just tell her you will.

this is true, actually. my psychotic ex boyfriend to this day believes i have a restraining order against him. the cops told him i had strong evidence for one, and if i wanted one, all i had to do was make a call. when he continued to harass me, all i had to do was tell him i was making the call. he stopped bothering me.
