Today, I went to get my midterm essay grade thinking I couldn't have made lower than a B. Got to class and my douchebag professor gave me an F. He wrote "Best essay I read, would've been an A if it was the right topic." I wrote on the Industrial Revolution, instead of the Scientific Revolution. FML

Today, I got a writing assignment back. After meeting with my professor specially after class and meticulously combing through every word of that paper, I got a low D. Turns out, he graded me down on every suggestion of his that I took. FML

Today, my English professor bragged to my entire class about how good my essay was. He kept on saying great things about it for the duration of class. To my surprise, he'd given me a C-. When I asked why, his only response was: "I'm a hard grader." FML

Today, after turning in a paper that I worked really hard on, I got it back with a grade of 0. In the feedback section, my professor wrote: “In all my 37 years of teaching, this is by far the worst essay I have ever read.” FML

Today, I had my teacher look over my essay before turning it in. He said it was extremely well-written, so I handed it in. When I got it back, the feedback he left said it was one of the worst essays he'd ever read. FML

Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML

Today, I got an F because I’m an idiot and wrote my essay on WW1 instead of WW2. I offered to resubmit a correct essay, but my mom stormed to school to demand it be changed to at least a B, because it was a good essay, even if it was on the wrong war. God, she’s impossible and embarrassing. FML

Today, I got my grades back. I got a very poor evaluation for my lit class, which was odd because it didn't match the impression from my end-of-class meeting with the professor. It does, however, include a nod to the supposedly-anonymous negative class review I gave her, though. FML

Today, the grades for one of my courses were released. The class average was higher than that which the department allowed, so the professor had to scale everyone's marks down to meet the policy. I ended up failing because my class was too smart. FML

How does it suck to be her? "Oh, let's not read the instructions correctly, then blame the professor for doing so, QQ, whine whine, yada yada". I mean, come on, seriously? No, it does NOT suck to be her. It sucks to be her professor. Why? Because he actually spent time reading the essay, yet he's still being called a douchebag. To me, that shows that he was trying really hard to find something which could be useful for the scientific revolution, so, at least, he wouldn't have to give her an F. But no, miss "I-don't-care-how-bad-I-messed-up,-I'll-blame-it-on-someone-else", had to call him a douchebag. So yeah, for OP: YDI, and for the professor: I agree, your life sucks, seeing you have ungrateful and childish students like these.

If your class was about Science wouldn't your test be about SCIENCE? And haven't you studied for this exam? Don't they tell you what is on the exam, before giving it to you like 2 weeks before? Sorry but why would you write something completely different from what you have learned or studied for at least 2 weeks?
