My kids, fiancé and I live with my parents. When they bought their new place last fall they *said* they were remodeling it. What they *meant* was they were remodeling their areas. The kitchen, master bdrm/bath and living room. We were left with a carpeted bath, buying paint for and painting our own spaces, and whatever other work was left. I'm disabled so I could only do so much work. My fiancé and kids had to give up wknds to get the work done. My parents got fed up with waiting for us (we had 2 rooms that needed 1 coat of paint, that's it. I could've done it in 2 days!) and scheduled the movers before we could finish. Now our "bedroom" is made up of bookcases for walls and my parents refuse to even pay for the materials to build 2 walls and a doorway. We'd do the work! OP, I feel for you my friend. Best of luck!
Why are you complaining? You, your fiancé, and your children are living in your parents' home. Be grateful they let you stay and are keeping you off the streets. Quit complaining they didn't remodel the areas you are living in. If you don't like the accommodations, then move somewhere else.
