Today, my boyfriend bought me Cards Against Humanity because he thinks it would give me some motivation to make friends since I only have one and need three to play. Sad thing is, he's right. FML

I see no problem with having one friend. I'd rather have one real friend than 100 fake friends.

If there's one game that can bring people together, it would be CAH. Plus, it's the thought that counts, right?

I don't know why, but this reminds me of Math's SOH-CAH-TOA with triangles...

Solitude by one's own decision is a blessing, solitude by other people's decision is a curse.

i agree, it should be all about quality and not quantity

agreed but how about those "hi" friends, the ones you know a little about but are genuinely friendly with you?

#15. I call those people acquaintances.

You got that right. or in my case 4 to five online friends rather then one real life friend that sucks your soul out like a succubus.

aww! I'd laugh so hard if my boyfriend did this to me! maybe you guys could go out together and find friends (: I go disc golfing, you never know who you'll meet, have fun!

Do you mean that your boyfriend is your only friend, or that you have one besides him? If it's the latter, then you have two :) If you are not sure where to start, have your boyfriend/current friend invite a friend or two to hang out with you, maybe you will hit it off with them as well. Do you have any acquaintances that you might like to get to know better? Strike up a conversation with them ("How's it going?" is usually a safe, effective starter). Join or get involved in groups you are interested in, you'll have something in common with the other people there. These might not lead to instant friends, but should help when practiced regularly. Don't blame your boyfriend, my guess is he cares about you :)

Sometimes, we use imaginary people to fill in. My wife and I named him Bob. Bob kicks ass.

There's a rule for a dummy hand named 'Rando Calrissian' Rando is always competitive.

I'm pretty sure you can play it online with and against randoms. :D

He wasted his money, cards against humanity is free online.

It sounds like her boyfriend bought the game for the intent of op making friends, which isn't possible with the online version

and it's more fun sitting around a table with friends sharing the joy.

The free online version that the poster is talking about is the downloadable printable card set. To play with real life friends at a real life table.

Yeah, but that's even lamer than playing online. Playing with shitty printer paper cutouts just feels wrong.
