Today, as I was eating mini wheats, I was entertaining myself by reading the ingredients in the cereal. I noticed one main ingredient read "gelatin," a substance taken from the bones and cartilage of pigs and cows. I've been eating mini wheats since I was four years old. I'm a vegetarian. FML

As a vegetarian you should probably look this up on all the food you eat. It's surprisingly much that seems to be veg, but aren't.

There's a lot of cases of pointless things being in foods that it seems like they don't really add anything to. Milk being in fig newtons. For example. Makes it unfortunately even more critical for people with dietary restrictions- voluntary and not- to read the ingredients. Especially since some companies out right lie about a product being vegetarian or vegan...
