Today, I left the windows open because I live in Florida without air conditioning because the asshole landlord won't fix it. There was nice cool air from the rain. I've killed about 100 flying ants that have made their way inside. Now I have a hot house with closed windows and flying ants. FML

You can sue your landlord. It's not considered acceptable housing with no AC

Nope. In Florida you are only legally required to supply heat in a rental unit. AC is completely optional, as awful as that is.

Also from Florida, once we hit 95 outside its considered an emergency repair, you need to report your landlord. The landlord will dislike you, but clearly he already does.

Look through your lease contract closely, he may be obligated to fix it. If he is, you can decide to not pay rent until he fixes it because he is not holding up his end of the contract

Eeeekk! I hope you didn't get bit! Time to threaten to report the landlord. How ridiculous of him. Houses in Florida NEED to have AC. He shouldn't even be a landlord!
