Today, someone photoshopped my head onto some nude girl's body and spread it around at school. It was shockingly convincing. Now everyone's calling me a slut, and the worst part is I have no idea which photo the person used or where they got it from, so I can't prove it's a fake. FML

no one does and I think its illegal, OP could get the police involved. In some states even a faced photo of someone underage is child ****.

Might be mis-clicks. Might be assholes. But I agree, this is a definite FYL!

Op, if you have any birthmarks, moles, or scars on your body, they won't be in the photo, so that gives you some proof at least! I'm so sorry this happened to you!!

Show it anyway

It is illegal even if it's photoshopped (assuming OP is a minor). She really should report it to local and school authorities. That also constitutes sexual harassment and bullying. Most schools in the U.S. have zero tolerance policies in regards to that. The school I teach at had a similar situation last year-- there was a full police investigation. Student computers and phones were seized (because, even photoshopped, it was considered child pornography) and four students were expelled. No one should have to put up with that kind of harassment at school. OP needs to let school admin know and file a police report. That photo could haunt her for a long time-- especially if it's on the Internet.

@1: People vote YDI do they can get achievement stats. Approximately 1000 people do this on most FMLs.

Reminds me of that movie, A walk to remember

That's immediately what I thought of!! I was somewhat waiting for them to say they had cancer, like the girl in the movie.

Reminded me of a walk to remember too. Hmmm.

Would it still work if OP's face is showing? I've never used that kind of software so Im genuinely curious.

you could always crop the head out and then search it

#39, if the source image is changed it won't work very well. The way they work, atleast Googles, is they identify things like a face and base the search off that. Try looking up a basic image, then modify it (crop, paste something ontop) and try again.

Tin-eye works pretty well, even if there are minor inconsistencies. If she can find both source photos and get the police involved there's a good chance the police can find the little shit. I mean, the person who did it has to have had access to a wide variety of photos of her to find a usable match and if the police subpena her friends ISPs they might be able to find a match. I mean, think about it, when a guy watches ****, he "watches" it, ie videos. All you got to do is find a friend, most likely a guy, with a search history of still image ****.

#72 its high school how many of those boys watch or search **** on a regular basis? probably all of them not to mention it could also be female, girls watch **** too and if a female was malicious enough and hated OP well its all possible

#39 as long as there isn't a massive amount of changes made to the original, there is usually some success. it's if the image has been heavily altered or had text or stuff plastered on it that it tends to fail.

#72 I'm sorry but you really think the police will subpoena her friends? No way! Plus the isp will fight that due to privacy laws and there's no way a judge would issue a warrant based on such little proof.

I'll second google. Assuming it's a full-body shot, and they left the original background (both likely), the pose and shapes (headboard, bookshelves, etc.) should get you a match. If you're looking for where they got your face, crop it down to just a face and search that out. GOOD LUCK nailing these jerks.

I'm very sorry to hear this my older sister had this done to her when she was in school and when I was in middle school at the time and it pissed me off. People a terrible just remember that highschool is shit and to get away from that school because it will only bring more shit.

Something like this happened to my sister too. She went to a private high school, and when she got pregnant someone photoshopped a condom saying "she should have used me! that ****!" and then posted it all over the school.

I sincerely hope you can somehow find whomever is doing this to you. I am so sorry.

There's a place and time for such comments and this isn't one of them!

That's a bit insensitive. This girls future could be ruined because of this.

It amazes me how cruel some people can be sometimes.

No no...no no no...no no no! He/She is just an asshole on wheels! And seeing for comment, i am inclined to believe you are in the same category...

No, the person is a certified jackass, so are you for thinking that this is genius, they've destroyed an innocent person's reputation.

corky1992 33

Um no. The perosn(s) responsible are not an evil genius. If this girl is under the age of 18 it's a crime..and this could ruin the poor girls future. Shame on you for finding it funny.

That's such a shit thing to do to someone. What is happening to humanity??!

#22 being in high school doesn't give anyone a free pass to do shit like this. This can break OP's reputation even after high school.

If she lives in a town like mine that's so true. Everyone and their mother would have seen the picture by lunch…

corky1992 33

22 that's extremely insensitive. it may not be that big of a deal to you but it's a huge deal to this poor girl. High school or not she doesn't deserve to have her reputation ruined like this.
