Today, I received a pair of earrings, a necklace, and some rings as a Christmas gift from my grandma. This would have been nice if I weren't a guy. This is her way of mocking me for wearing what she calls "girl colors", such as white. FML

Joke's on her! You can sell those things and buy yourself something nice, OP :)

Hey, just thank your grandma and pass the gifts to your girlfriend.

Don't waste this chance, OP. Now you can look like the pimp you've always wanted to be.

That only works when the thought is good, you know.

When the thought was to humiliate her grandson it doesn't count as much

Or keep them for a future girlfriend :)

Hey, just thank your grandma and pass the gifts to your girlfriend.

You could always return them or even take them to a pawn shop if they're not cheap costume jewelry.

Well, at least you can sell the jewelry to get yourself something nice :)

Sell it. Now you have money and an outsmarted grandma.

Or he could keep it as a gift to his girlfriend or mom or some other girl for their birthday or next Christmas.

I really think this site needs a catagory just for grandparents and/or the elderly.

You could wear them while you take her out to lunch and watch her squirm in her seat with embarassment.

He would need to wear a white suit with a nice salmon shirt underneath and some shiny white platforms. Also since when has white been "girly" I guess my white t shirts make me girly?

To me even pink isn't really a 'girl colour'. Or at least, I wouldn't think of a guy as girly for wearing pink - even ignoring my issues with gender stereotyping, I see blokey jock type guys in pink designer polo shirts ALL the time, it's like it's mandatory or something. So I can't even begin to think why white would be girly.

I know my rugby sevens team wears pink socks and switches from blue/white to pink/white polos for breast cancer awareness month. I also know a lot of pro football teams that do this. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?
