Today, I was at Walmart when I saw my grandpa in the next aisle looking at magazines. Wanting to surprise him, I ran up behind him and hugged him around the middle. Up close, I realized he wasn't my grandpa. FML

I had the same thing happen to me at my daughter's high school graduation. I came up from behind to hug and congratulate her but it wasn't her. Fortunately, it was one of her friends and she had a good sense of humor about it.

Yeah, This FML for me needs to have info on how they reacted. If they were cheered up by it, no big deal. If they were cheered up by it in a creepy way, FYL. If it turned out to be Red Foreman, well good luck getting that foot out of your ass and FYL again.
