thanks for all your imput. for the record i am in GT and AP classes and my parents expect at least a 3.75 GPA ususally. i am still currently grounded, and won't be ungrounded until i recieve a 4.0 on my report card. WHICH is technically a 5.0 with AP credit. so do not criticize my "ambition or self respect", vm2012, because I guarentee I have a better transcript than you. kthanks to everyone else for your comments! <333

How the hell can you get a 5.0? Omfg.....well I've had 2 friends who had 5.0, but one of them was like an ugly ass nerd with no life (never hanging out with people like that again) and the other was just a genius from Asia who actually was cool. I can't even get close to a 5.0. 4.2 ftw!!

Actually I'm not surprised that you're an AP and honor student. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone in those classes are first rate geniuses. Well unless you take AP Physics, but that's a whole nightmare in itself.

MAD AZN PARENTALZ!! haha but srsly i'm an A student but if I get a bad grade my mom's just like "Make sure you study" since I usually get good grades and it's just like -fart- on a test. lolol If my son (I'm going to adopt a kid so I know the gender) got a bad grade I wouldn't ground him, I would help him!! Being punished because you don't understand something is just going to make the child not want to learn, or be scared, or lie so they don't get in trouble. :/

What an asinine comment. Not every kid is dealt the same hand. It's normal to struggle in some subjects.
