Today, I was going to meet my friend at a concert. I got there before her, so I went in to check out the local bands that were playing before the headliner. When she got there, I went just outside the building to give her a ticket. The security guards wouldn't let me back in. She went in anyway. FML

YDI. Everybody knows that once you leave the venue there is no re-admission. And there are usually many signs at the entrance to tell you this. And I wouldn't blame your friend. Why waste 2 tickets instead of just 1 because you were too stupid to talk to a security guard or read a sign.

they say by most concert entrances 'No Re-entry' And they explain on the sign that you need another ticket to get back in. YDI for not paying attention.

At every concert I've been to, nobody under 21 can go in and out, and I'm guessing this was at a club because there were local bands there, all you had to do was tell the security guard at the door that you needed to give your friend her ticket who is just outside the door, and he probably wouldve given it to her for you if she was in view. I've done it before. and the security gaurd wasn't being a dick, he was just doing his job.

It sounds more like one of those outdoor music festivals to me, and I'm guessing there were such huge lines that OP couldn't find someone to talk to since they were all busy, or they didn't remember him/her, or her friend wasn't right there.

52: it says "just outside the building", so it was indoor and her friend in the line was not very far out. OP: YDI for not holding on to your ticket stub and just barging out of the place without saying anything to the security guards, expecting to just be let back in. Why did you go inside without your friend in the first place? You were being just as rude.
