You clearly need to pick better friends.

If you haven't had the balls to ask him out in years, I don't see why your friend shouldn't date him if they like each other.

No offence OP, I see these submissions all the time and they annoy me. Having your crush date your friend might be an FML (not worthy of publishing, but still an FML to you) but adding that your friend knew you liked the guy only makes it pathetic. Just because you like someone doesn't mean that they are off limits to everyone else. If you had dated for a time, then it may be a different story and your friend might have spoken with you beforehand. If it were the other way around, you found the perfect person and they felt the same about you, would you give up the chance for what might be true love and a wonderful relationship that could last decades just because your friend was interested in them too? You are young and might have many crushes. Next time if you think the person might like you back, do something about it first.

They met on my Facebook page so now I'm their mutual friend, way sucks the most is I told her I know him and so now she asks me for advice while texting. They've never even met before.
