Today, I finally got cleared after my knee surgery and wanted to go salsa dancing with a girl I liked. So we went and I thought I would show off a little bit and try to dip her and kiss her. Turns out my knee isn't strong enough and now she won't talk to me after dropping her on the floor. FML

Forget her, she doesn't sound like she has a sence of humour anyways, man if some guy dropped me while dancing I wouldn't be able to get up I'd be laughing so hard hope ur knee gets better :)

Agreed, she's a bitch. OP still kind of deserves it though. After something like surgery, you really need to watch what you do for a while, cleared or not.

You totally deserve it. You never drop your dance partner. If you do, it's always your fault. That's the responsibility of the lead - to look out for their follows and protect them from injury. Sounds like you went for a really deep dip, which is a bad idea for a new dance partner in general, and a very bad idea when your knee is weak. Plus, going for a kiss in the middle of a dance? That's just decoyey and uncomfortable thing to do. Being a good dancer doesn't give you an excuse to try to take advantage of your partner. Creep. I wouldn't dance with you either.
