Today, I discovered that my 17-year-old daughter received several weird deposits from Paypal. I checked her phone to discover that she had changed the password for the first time in years. Fearing drugs, I confronted her. She broke down and confessed to selling rare digital Pokemon on eBay. FML

Today, I found out that my 14-year-old son spent hundreds of dollars on what appears to be a misogynist multi-level marketing hustlers' website. How did he pay for this horseshit, and how did I found out? My PayPal account sent me emails, telling me that several purchases had been made, but too late for me stop them. FML

Today, I found out that my daughter has been stuffing my push-up bras and lipstick into her backpack, putting them on at school, and taking them off before she gets home. She's 9. The only reason I found out is because her teacher reported me to social services. FML

I'm the mother of a 16 year old who will be 17 in two months. While I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he's selling drugs or check his phone, I would be concerned and would ask him. I trust my son and have faith that he wouldn't be involved in illegal behavior, HOWEVER it's not uncommon for teenagers to fool their parents. I don't totally agree with this parent but I think OP was right to ask about the transactions
