78, at 16 I don't suppose you'd understand what it means to be a good parent but I'll explain it to you as it was recently explained to me. Giving your child handout after handout will not solve their problems and will most certainly male you a good parent, in fact it makes you a poor one. A good parent will attempt to get their child to stand on their own two feet, it's why my parents encouraged me to work from age 16 even though they could have just given me money instead, I like to think I'm better for it. I'd also like to think that it is why as of yet I have not appeared on tv for robbing a bank. OP, if you did everything you could to raise them right then I truly feel for you. If you followed advice like 78 is offering and didn't really try to raise him then a long range YDI missile is streaking towards your position as we speak.
