Today, my AP government teacher moved our seats and of course, I was seated next to my ex who has harassed me ever since our breakup. When I asked the teacher after class if I could please have a seat change, she told me I would have to write a 3-page essay on why I made the request. FML

Today, I found out that my classmates hate me so much that they have a seating arrangement where people have to sit next to me on a rotating basis. A fight broke out yesterday because someone tried to skip their turn. FML

Today, while on the bus, I found out the seat I'd taken was the preferred spot of a very hostile and extremely overweight freshman. Instead of letting me find different place to sit, she half sat on me, and completely ignored my attempts to dislodge myself all the way to school. FML

If you explain the situation and the teacher still doesn't make the change then go above them and go to an principal. There is no reason you should have to feel harassed in school

If your teacher won't help you then maybe go to a higher up, OP. Teacher's can be assholes for no reason. Or just write a damn good essay.

Your teacher is giving you a very good personalized lesson about government. They make changes without caring how it affects you, then when you are negatively effected you are expected to go through a bunch of crap to get it sorted out. If the local governing body, aka teacher, wont do anything, go to the higher governing body, aka principle.

I would write the paper about harassment and then in detail provide what your ex has been doing to you personally.

Copy and paste three pages (or one and hand in two blank ones) with the words in capital: Ex-boyfriend + harassment from said ex = Please give me a new seat. That's what I would have done..
