A golden shower for the people of New Jersey

The weather forecast was a little different than expected …

Yesterday we reported on a chocolate catastrophe that flooded the streets of a small German town; a dream come true some may say! Well today, we have even more bizarre news for you.

Christmas came early for the state as LITERAL money rained down on the Route 3 highway in East Rutherford. Due to a Brinks truck spillage, the road was deluged with green stuff causing many a morning commuter to exit their car and take advantage of the situation, the scene resembling something from a Tarantino movie. The fiasco even managed to cause two road accidents, but thankfully nobody was hurt.

Motorists scrambled all over the roads like little roaches (but, do we blame them?) with many scooping all the dollar they possible could, before scooting off in the direction of a very decadent Christmas!

However, there were a few good eggs about that morning as it was reported $6,000 was actually returned, with many people helping out a Brinks employee who was assigned to collect all the buck that has managed to break free. Poor guy.

We’re wondering what next wonder will manage to escape, and where in the world it’ll be? A cheese factory explosion in France perhaps? Or maybe there’ll be maple syrup floods in Canada?

We just wish we would have been on that New Jersey highroad that morning! Let us know in the comments what YOU would spend all that buck on!

A cheese factory explosion and a maple syrup flood would not be as fun as a chocolate spill. A cheese truck spillage and a maple taffy explosion in winter, on the other hand, sending ribbons of maple taffy all over the snow and camemberts rolling down the road...
