Today, my wife is treating me like I'm the devil, all because I refused to go on medication that would kill my sex drive, just so she wouldn't have to deal with me actually wanting to make love more than once a year. FML

Today, my wife told me she had stopped taking her anti-depressants a month ago in hopes of increasing her non-existent sex drive. I asked her if it had helped, and was about to suggest she start taking them again for her own wellbeing. She replied with, "Anyway, I'm just not attracted to you." FML

What are the drugs for. There has to be alternative if its for a physical problem. If it's just for sex drive she has a real problem. I divorced my first husband for many reasons but one Es his lack of interest in sex

If the prescription is an SSRI/SSRNI antidepressant, then I understand why the person who wrote this FML doesn't want to take that. They are notorious for lowering a person's desire for sex.

I'm thinking that's not really the reason she wants u to take the meds. She's thinking the real reason outweighs the having to have less sex because you really need the help. I doubt she happy about less sex, but she's more worried about your well being.
