Today, my doctor told me I'm pregnant. Since we've been trying for several years, I called my husband to tell him the good news. Not long after, my doctor called to inform me there'd been a clerical mix-up and I'm not actually pregnant after all. FML

That's unfortunate. One of the few actual FMLs that are really sad. Keep trying!

I'm so, so sorry, OP. I hope you and your husband are successful in the future.

my husband and I have similar struggles, but to have the answer to your prayers in the palm of your hand only to have it ripped away... I couldn't imagine :( good luck OP!

I know how you feel OP. My husband and I tried for 7 years. Don't lose hope! I gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby girl on Saturday, and she was well worth the wait and all the heart ache. I hope for your success!

I feel bad for the father. Imagine how excited he must have been.

Adoption is a legitimate option. It's one thing to love your own child. It's a whole new level to love another persons child the same. Be strong OP.

Keep trying, OP! They told my mom she would never be able to have a kid but for the past 20 years I have served as living proof that the doctors were wrong :)

I hope everything works out for you op, at least you're having the fun of trying!

That's sad. Sorry that happened to you. I hope the next test will be positive for real with no mix ups.

I feel bad for you one of the few FMLs that are truly sad keep trying and hopefully you will have a beautiful child

Of course this happens in Belgium this proves that government regulation of healthcare is not good
