Today, I went with my sister to get our eyebrows waxed. I didn't think my eyebrows were that bad--and they weren't! When the guy waxed my eyebrows, he gestured my lips and said, "Moustache, too?" Mortified, I said, "No!" to which he replied, "Aw, someone no get kissy tonight." FML

I doubt she has a facial hair problem. As tick_tock said, he probably just wanted to make her feel like shit and pay to have a non-existent problem fixed. If she was mortified as such at the idea of having a moustache, and it actually existed, I'm sure she would have taken care of it before.

lol i'm sure he just made it up to make her feel bad. people aren't really that malicious. she clearly had a 'stache, even if she doesn't realize it. i know a lot of girls who (apparently) don't seem to realize it. the guy was just trying to help her out. someone needed to tell her.

Eh I get my lip waxed, it's not a big deal. (Though actually I've been using nair lately. It works pretty well but doesn't last as long as wax, of course).

What an ass....but I bet they do it in plastic surgery places too, tell you everything you don't have wrong with you so you lose all your confidence and want all this surgery you never needed in the first place! Well, unless you look like jabba the hut of course LOL

yeah they do ask that a lot. even if you don't have noticeably hair on your upper lip, when the waxer is that close to your face, he can see pretty much everything. on the bright side, if he asks you if you want it waxed and you pretend like you do but you don't have enough money, they'll usually give you a deal: eyebrows and lip for $15 :)

yeah they prob would....Sonny...the guy who does my wax since im in like every week gives me a deal...eyebrows, lip, chin, neck and sides for $20 its really not that bad

A lot of the people that do facial hair removal are jerks. Many of them are way too forward and want to wax everything that can possibly have a hair on it. My roommate when to get her eyebrows done once. She has a barely existant moustache- its blonde, you can't even see it unless you look REALLY close. But the chinese lady doing her eyebrows was like "I do lip too, you look like MAN!" Needless to say, she didn't get a tip.
